PATTON -- Tanner Trybus tied a Cambria Heights record in the 100-meter dash with a first-place time of 11.1 seconds in a 114-30 win over Purchase Line and a 90-46 triumph over River Valley in high school track and field action on Wednesday.
Trybus also won the long and triple jumps.
Brock Eckenrode won both the 800- and 1600-meter runs for the Highlanders.
River Valley beat Purchase Line, 100-25.
In girls action, Cambria Heights defeated Purchase Line, 102-39, and River Valley, 99-42. River Valley topped Purchase Line, 81-56.
Rachel McClellan won both hurdles, and Brielle McMillen captured the 100 dash and long and triple jumps for Cambria Heights.

EBENSBURG -- Central Cambria's boys team edged Bedford, 78-72, behind wins in the 1600 and 3200 by Dominic Kuntz and first-place finishes by Cody Roberts in the 800-meter run and pole vault.
Ethan Weber (100-, 200-meter dash) and Kevin Ressler (long jump, triple jump) won two events for the Bisons.
On the girls side, Bedford topped Central Cambria, 84-66, despite wins in the 800, 1600 and 3200 by Lady Devil Annaliese Niebauer.
Grace Sarver won the 100- and 200-meter dashes, Jillian Beck won the long jump and triple jump and Autumn Becker won both hurdles for Bedford.

Portage girls win two
NORTHERN CAMBRIA -- Cami Burkett won the 100- and 200-meter dashes for Portage in its 77-64 win over United. The Lady Mustangs also defeated Northern Cambria, 83-54.
Despite wins from Bode Layo in the javelin and discus, Portage boys fell to United, 106-44, and Northern Cambria, 94-54.
