MARTINSBURG -- The Central boys defeated Forest Hills, 108.5-41.5, but the Rangers topped Bishop Carroll Catholic, 110-40 and Penn Cambria, 93-57. Central also beat Penn Cambria, 106-35, but the Panthers edged the Huskies, 80-70, in high school track and field action on Wednesday.
Shalen Yingling won the 100- and 200-meter dashes, and Rylan Daugherty won the triple jump and javelin for the Scarlet Dragons. Andre Marinak won both hurdles for Penn Cambria, and Josh Stolarski won the 400-meter dash and the long jump.
Bishop Carroll's Josh Harker won both the shot put and the discus.
In girls action, Forest Hills edged Central, 84-66, but the Lady Dragons topped Penn Cambria, 109-40. Penn Cambria also lost to Forest Hills, 122-27, but defeated Bishop Carroll, 79-49. The Lady Rangers topped Carroll, 135-32.

Portage girls unbeaten
HOMER CITY -- The Portage girls remained unbeaten with wins over Homer-Center (101-42) and River Valley (86-56) thanks to three wins by Cami Burkett in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes and a pair of wins from Alex Chobany in the 800- and 1600-meter runs.
Despite wins from Bode Layo in the javelin and shot put, the Portage boys fell to Homer-Center, 86-49, and River Valley, 83-61.
