From Mirror reports HERSHEY — Juniata Valley’s Ella McCrum, Cambria Heights’ Savannah Hoover and Williamsburg’s Ava Dixon each ran to all-state performances and earned top-25 medals in the PIAA Class 1A girls cross country race in Hershey on Saturday. HERSHEY — Hollidaysburg sophomores Crosby Denis and Grace Muriceak went 1-1 in Class 3A doubles action at the PIAA Tennis Championships at the Hershey Racquet Club on Friday. HERSHEY — One singles player and two doubles teams from Blair County will compete in the PIAA Girls Tennis Championships beginning today at the Hershey Racquet Club. District 6 Class 2A singles champ Julia Ritchey of Central will begin play against District 12 champ Emerson Selgrath of Lansdale Catholic at 8 a.m. with a spot in the 4 p.m. quarterfinals on the line. JOHNSTOWN — The Altoona Area High School ice hockey team picked up its first win of the season Tuesday night, beating Conemaugh Valley, 10-2, at 1st Summit Arena at Cambria County War Memorial.
