EBENSBURG -- Jayden Mentzer scored in overtime to lead Hollidaysburg to a 9-8 victory over Central Cambria at the Northern Cambria Rec Center Tuesday in high school ice hockey.
Mentzer finished with two goals for the Golden Tigers (3-2), who were tied at 2-2 after one period, 5-5 after two periods and 8-8 at the end of regulation.
Isaac Miller finished the night with five goals for Hollidaysburg, which left the ice with 41 shots on goal.
Central Cambria, which totaled 28 shots on goal, got a hat trick each from Kayden Park and Austin Semelsberger. Semelsberger scored the last two goals for the Red Devils to force the overtime.
Hollidaysburg will play Altoona on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Galactic Ice.

Lions triumph
JOHNSTOWN -- Altoona Area High School improved to 2-3, thanks to a 4-1 win over Johnstown at 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial Arena.
Four different players scored for Altoona, which broke a 1-1 tie with three goals in the third period. Ricky Crum, Kyle Conrad, Carter Panick and Connor Stivers delivered on offense for the Mountain Lions, who outshot Johnstown, 39-16. Goalie Seth Conrad worked two shutout periods in the win.
The Mountain Lions play Hollidaysburg Thursday at 7:30 back at Galactic Ice. Both teams will be collecting food donations for teach school's backpack program. Free admission will be granted with a food donation.
