Altoona honored seniors Aiden Aiken, Sean Ratchford, Leim King-Settles and Logan Moser before its 7-0 win over Bedford at Mansion Park on Thursday in high school tennis.

Ratchford and King-Settles teamed up to win at No. 2 doubles, Aiken was part of the winning team at No. 1 doubles, and Moser won at No. 5 singles.

PHILADELPHIA — The Hollidaysburg girls — Brooklyn Boggetta, Rylan Carney, Samira Patel and Sydney Ulery — ran the 1600-meter relay in track and field action at the Penn Relays on Thursday in 4:14.48.

JV goes 2-1

ALEXANDRIA — The Juniata Valley boys track and field team downed West Branch, 89-42, and Williamsburg, 90-41, and lost to Southern Huntingdon, 84-57.

Rylan Corl won the long jump and the 300 hurdles for Williamsburg

The Juniata Valley girls edged West Branch, 73-72, and topped Williamsburg, 104-25, but lost to Southern Huntingdon, 81-55.

Eve McCrum won the 800 and 1600 runs for the Lady Hornets, and Aubrey Anderson won the 100 dash and the long jump.
