PNG Field unable to host finals this season

From Mirror reports Over the past few years, the Tyrone and Central varsity baseball teams have won PIAA championships and the road to a state title and the District 6 championship games went through Altoona’s PNG Field. That won’t be the case this season as the Curve start a 12-game homestand on Tuesday, May 23. The District 6 baseball finals are scheduled to begin the day before. WILLIAMSBURG — Rowan Gorsuch pitched a one-hitter for the Williamsburg baseball team on Tuesday, leading the Blue Pirates to a 7-1 win over Juniata Valley in high school play.
