HOLLIDAYSBURG — Vince Boland and Brady Steiner combined on a no-hitter to help Hollidaysburg beat Richland, 6-2, Thursday in high school baseball play. Boland worked six innings before the pitch limit forced Steiner to come on to record three outs in the seventh. PHILIPSBURG — Tyrone scored seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to rally past Philipsburg-Osceola, which entered the night as the top-seeded team in District 6 Class 3A, 15-12. The Golden Eagles won the rematch of last year’s District 6 title game, won by P-O, with the help of three hits each from Wyatt Kustenbauder, A.J. Coleman, Ashton Walk, Landon Hamer and Owen Oakes. Aaron Smearman worked a bases loaded walk with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Altoona to a 4-3 win over Williamsport at Mansion Park Monday in high school baseball.
