Aaron Smearman worked a bases loaded walk with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Altoona to a 4-3 win over Williamsport at Mansion Park Monday in high school baseball.
In addition to the walk, Smearman recorded a two-run double to knot the game in the sixth, while Brennen Freiwald earned the win in relief for the Mountain Lions, now 8-5.

BELLWOOD -- Winning pitcher Mason Sparks tossed a complete-game three-hitter with nine strikeout and one walk for Central in a 5-0 win over Bellwood-Antis.
Hunter Smith had two hits and scored twice for the Dragons, while Britton Marko knocked in a pair of runs.
Tanner Swogger, Cam Swogger and Chase Plummer had one hit each for the Blue Devils.

CH, Portage split
PORTAGE -- Cambria Heights and Portage split a doubleheader with the Mustangs coming up with a 9-5 victory in eight innings before the Highlanders claimed a 7-5 win in game two.
In the opener, Portage rallied for one run in the seventh to force extra innings, and then proceeded to plate four runs in the top of the eighth before holding Heights scoreless to capture the win.
Lawrence led the Mustangs with three hits and three RBIs, while Brady Cochran came through with two runs batted in.
Garrett Jasper tallied two hits and two RBIs for the Highlanders, while Bryce Lewis and Mitchell Elias amassed two hits each.
In the nightcap, Lewis had two hits and two RBIs, while Jasper knocked in two runs and Ethan Kline and Anthony Swander came up with two hits apiece for Heights.
Trent Nesbella was responsible for two RBIs for Portage, Cochran collected three hits, while Connor Binaut, Jacob McCoy and Jonah Irvin tallied two hits apiece.

Vikings victorious
WILLIAMSBURG -- Glendale jumped all over Williamsburg with three runs in the first inning of a 7-1 victory.
Winning pitcher Troy Misiura struck out nine, allowed just two hits and collected three of his own for the Vikings, while Bryson Davis tallied two hits and Connor Potutschnig had two RBIs.
Preston Long came through with the lone RBI for the Blue Pirates.

CC rallies for win
EBENSBURG -- Central Cambria completed a big rally with eight runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take down Penn Cambria by a 13-9 score.
Trailing 9-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth, the Red Devils put five runs on the board in that half before exploding for eight more in the fifth.
Grady Snyder led CC with three hits and three RBIs, Logan Black and Jack Washko totaled two hits and two RBIs apiece, while Brayden Blasko knocked in two runs and Joe Iacono delivered two hits
Derek Hite recorded two hits and three RBIs for the Panthers, while Kyle Conrad drove home three teammates and Ryan Hanlon collected two hits.
