From Mirror reports The Hollidaysburg Area High School girls tennis lost its No. 1 singles player from the last four seasons, but don’t expect the Lady Tigers to suffer much of a dropoff this season. With Gretta Rhodes and Rachel Gallagher graduating, Hollidaysburg will lean on experienced seniors Megan Ferris, Regan McKee, Nina Meadows and CeCe Williams to help lead nine juniors and a group of six freshmen who are expected to make impacts on the team. MINGOVILLE — The high school boys golf teams from Central, Bishop Guilfoyle and Penn Cambria competed in a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference at the Nittany Country Club on Tuesday in a cross-section match where the Scarlet Dragons came out on top. STATE COLLEGE — Central senior Griffin Snowberger shot a 1-under par 71 to win the Happy Valley Invitational Class 2A boys individual championship Thursday afternoon at the Penn State White Course.
