Penn State women’s basketball team gets transfer from Nevada

UNIVERSITY PARK– Penn State women’s basketball head coach Tanisha Wright announced Monday that 2025-26 Mountain West Freshman of the Year Skylar Durley signed to play at Penn State.
Durley became the seventh addition to Wright’s roster and sixth portal pickup.
“The addition of Skylar really strengthens our team in many ways,” said Wright. “Skylar is a proven leader, showcased by the Mountain West Freshman of the Year. Skylar is a tough nosed guard who isn’t afraid to mix it up, evidenced by her ability to rebound the ball.”
The Nevada transfer started in all 31 games last season and averaged 31.9 minutes per game. She reached double-figure scoring on 19 occasions.
