Priester shut out Erie on two hits over seven innings, and Altoona finished with a three-hitter in a 3-1 victory over the SeaWolves at UPMC Park. Priester (4-3) struck out five, walked two and lowered his ERA to 2.13 over his 14 starts for the Curve. The right-hander has allowed just 60 hits in 71ª innings, striking out 70 with 20 walks.
