Jose M. Gonzalez-Moret, 58, of Altoona, passed away May 1, 2026. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of Ignes Moret and Julio Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Julio Enriquez Gonzalez-Moret; and sister, Myrna Gonzalez-Moret. Jose is survived by his mother; his wife, Carolyn Lopez; three sons; and many stepchildren, grandchildren and siblings. Lawrence H. “Larry” Harman II, 54, Alexandria, died Tuesday. Born in Bellefonte, he was a son of Lawrence “Henry” and Peggy (Reitz) Harman. Surviving are his parents; his wife, Catherine; stepdaughter, Jessica; brother, Eric; nieces, Haley and Brooklyn; and a nephew, Lawrence “Casey.” He was predeceased by his grandparents: Lawrence “Pete” and Madaline Harman and Harry and Ruth Reitz.
