Jose M. Gonzalez-Moret, 58, of Altoona, passed away May 1, 2026. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of Ignes Moret and Julio Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Julio Enriquez Gonzalez-Moret; and sister, Myrna Gonzalez-Moret. Jose is survived by his mother; his wife, Carolyn Lopez; three sons; and many stepchildren, grandchildren and siblings. Jose was a faithful, dedicated employee of Blue Knob Auto and loved his work family. Friends will be received from 3 until the 5 p.m. service Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc., 532 Main St., Portage.
