George Elliott Stanley Jr., 83, formerly of Lewistown, went home to be with his Lord on May 8, 2026, after a short illness. George was the beloved son of George E. and “Bunni” Stanley. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Ellen Stanley, with whom he shared 42 years. Sharon A. Albert, 79, of Altoona, died Sunday. She was born in Philipsburg, daughter of the late Harry W. and Louise M. (Aikens) Albert. Sharon is survived by her sister, Rosemary M. Little; and her brother, Nelson S. Albert (Phyllis). She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley and Joe Albert. Sharon was previously employed at the Proctor Silex plant in Antis Township. Barbara A. Ensley, 81, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2026, at Homewood Living Martinsburg after a brief illness. Barb was the daughter of the late Homer and Verda (Callihan) Moore. On Oct. 14, 1967, she married her husband, Ronald L. Ensley, in Imler. Their enduring love story continued for decades, only coming to an end on Aug. 12, 2024, when Ron passed away.
