George Elliott Stanley Jr.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Ellen Stanley, with whom he shared 42 years.

Surviving are his devoted wife of more than eight years, Mary Ann; a sister, Sandi Yarnall; a niece, Samantha Persch; and stepchildren: Margaret Warden, Joanne Richards and Robert Murray.

George proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1962-66. He worked for the Burroughs Corporation and the Giant Company.

He loved photography, model trains, and was a dedicated member of the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society.

A celebration of life service will be held for those who would like to remember George at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Hollidaysburg, where he was a faithful member.
