Shirley L. Diehl, 78, Imler, passed away on Friday. She was born in Blue Knob, daughter of the late William and Sarah (Snowberger) Herman. On April 29, 1966, she married Larry Guy Diehl in Durham, N.C. He passed away Sept. 24, 2009. Surviving are a son, David E. Robert Edward ‘Bob’ Frontz Jr.

Robert Edward “Bob” Frontz Jr., 61, Ashville, died Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert Edward Frontz Sr. and Bonnie Ann (Baker) Hill. Surviving are his sisters, Tina and Mary Ann; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannie. Friends will be received from 4 until the 6 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, June 17, at Gibbons-Penksa Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville. Interment will be at Amsbury Union Cemetery.

Patricia L. “Miss Patty” Glunt, 85, East Freedom, died Saturday at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert C. and Fern Amber (Helsel) Smith. Surviving is a son; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheryl; and a brother.
