Kevin L. Hite, 66, Hollidaysburg, died Friday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Lock Haven, son of the late William A. and Clara D. (LaMorte) Hite. Surviving are his wife, Jeanne (Mock) Hite; a daughter, Kathryn McNally (Daniel); a granddaughter, Mackenzie McNally; a sister, Kathryn Hileman (Scott); and several nieces and nephews. Kevin was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. He was the former owner of Hite Locksmith. At Kevin’s request, there will be no public viewing. Frank W. Kowalczyk, 79, of Flinton, died Saturday. He was born in Coupon, son of the late Frank and Jean (Zugay) Kowalczyk. His wife, Caroleann, preceded him in death. Surviving are a son, Keith (Amy); a brother, John; sister, Patricia Conrad; grandchildren: Kyrsten Mulhollen, Joshua and Nikolas; and great-grandchildren: Madeline, Lacey and Brynlee. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed socializing and spending time with family. A private military graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
