Bernadette A. Byrne, 83, of Ebensburg, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Spangler, daughter of the late Cletus and Frances Ruth (Wayne) Kirkpatrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Byrne; brothers: James, Leo Wayne, Lawrence Jerry and Father Cletus Kirkpatrick; and sisters: Barbara Fenchak, Mary Fenello and Ruth Johnson. Ruby A. (Sprow) Davis, 69, of Altoona, passed away Friday. She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Lloyd and Barbara (McCready) Sprow. Surviving are a daughter, Heidi Glatfelter and husband, Kurt, of Irvona; four grandchildren: Gavin, Hailie, Gage and Bryce; five great-grandchildren; a sister; and three brothers. Ruby graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School in 1974. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and watching Stephen King movies. There will be no public services.
