I read the letter regarding the direction of the Democratic party. I find it interesting that the complaint is about what the Republican party is doing today. Regarding weaponizing of the legal system, it is Trump’s Department of Justice bringing unsubstantiated lawsuits against Trump’s perceived enemies: namely, James Comey, Adam Schiff, Letitia James, his own niece Mary Trump, John Bolton, Mark Kelly, Jack Smith and Eric Swalwell, to name the most familiar people.

He continues to thumb his nose at the Constitution, starting a war against Iran without Congressional approval; bulldozing the East Wing of the White House without Congressional approval; demanding a huge ornate ballroom which was supposedly being built by donor contributions but now is asking for taxpayer money to pay for it.

ICE is running rampant in our American cities, arresting not criminals, as was stated when this all started, but everyday people who are earning money and paying taxes even though they will probably never get the benefits of Social Security, Medicaid or Medicare because they are “illegal.”

Finally, regarding the accusation of inflammatory language, Trump is the one calling the media the enemy within, referring to liberals as unhinged, media (mostly women) are called piggy, stupid and incapable. He referred to Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as low IQ. Other targets of his attacks include former Vice President Kamala Harris, Somali-born Congresswoman Ilhan Omar; Palestinian-American Rashida Tlaib and Democratic firebrand Jasmine Crockett.

So which party is it that is headed in the wrong direction?
