Howard Dean Richardson Sr., 87, Altoona, died Monday. He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Feltenberger) Richardson. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Phoebe; children: Fay Denny, Doris Benner, Howard II, Anthony and Jamie; many grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie Snyder. He was preceded in death by three children: Clair, Mary and Eleanor; two sisters; and four brothers. Dean served in the Army National Guard and was a butcher and farmer all his life.
