Tory Kane Datres, 38, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian. He lived a life marked by his deep love for family, the outdoors and the simple joys that brought him peace. Tory was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and a proud combat veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps from 2005-09. His service to his country was a meaningful and defining part of his life. Paul Richard Hinkle Sr., 85, of Altoona, died Thursday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald and Minerva (Marlin) Hinkle. Surviving are his wife, Joyce; children: Paul Jr., Kimberly Dalansky, Donald and Todd; several grandchildren; and sisters, Minerva and Barbara. He was preceded in death by siblings: Donald, William, Shirley, Ellen and Audrey. Paul was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
