Debora A. “Debbie” Lutz, 73, a resident of Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona . She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Fred and Lois (Hite) Ritchey.
She married Ernest R. Lutz Jr., who preceded her in death in 2002.
Surviving are two daughters, Misty Miller (Don) of Hollidaysburg and Erin Orr (Shawn) of Sidman; grandchildren: “D” Miller, Erik Lutz and Riley Renee Miller; four brothers: Fred Ritchey (Becky) of Williamsburg, Tim Ritchey (Lois) of Roaring Spring, Jeff Ritchey (Winnie) of East Freedom and Kevin Ritchey (Theresa) in Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Kim Butler (Ken) of Martinsburg; special aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Ritchey; and a brother, Monte Dru Ritchey.
Debbie was a 1970 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. She was a dedicated daycare worker and loved children. She enjoyed listening to Elvis music and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at noon on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville. Father Allen Zeth will officiate. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
