Matthew C. Johnson, 38, of Duncansville, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. He was born in Altoona, a son of Charles and Tami (Hoover) Johnson. Surviving are his parents; a brother, Zachary (Rachel); three nephews: Ryan, Mason and Gage; and a niece, Alexis. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Homer Hoover Jr., in 2017. Matt graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and Penn State with a degree in agribusiness management. He was employed by Sheetz as a merchandising coordinator.
