Dale Martin Umholtz, 81, Tyrone, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona, marking the end of his journey. A heart too big for this world gave out, leaving his wife, Ann, and family to carry its beat. He was born in Tyrone and grew up there, a son of the late Winfield Scott and Helen C. (Bratton) Umholtz. He was married May 18, 1978, to Ann C. Saylor, who survives as his beloved wife.
