Judy Brunette, 85, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday afternoon at UPMC Mercy-Pittsburgh. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Crane) Isenberg.
Judy married William Brunette on June 29, 1963, at St. Columba Catholic Church, Oxon Hill, Md.
She is survived by her loving husband, William, of Altoona; and two daughters, Jeanne Brunette of Lexington, Ky., and Rene Brunette of Altoona; a granddaughter, Christina Brunette; a brother-in-law, John Brunette (Jan) of South Williamsport; nephews, Steven Brunette (Jennifer Kowalski) and Steven Chase; and niece, Jennifer Heiligman (Adam).
Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Jon; and sister, Jeanne; and nephew, Doug Chase.
She retired from the Altoona Area School District as a history and geography teacher.
Judy was a lifelong member of St. Therese Catholic Church.
Above all, Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
There will be no visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
