Carl R. Feather, 85, of Cessna, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at UPMC Altoona. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, at Claysburg Bible Church, 11751 William Penn Road, Imler. Chedell M. Henderson Sr., 59, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday evening. He was born in Tallahassee Fla., the son of Abe Sr. and the late Daisy (Matthews) Henderson. Surviving are his wife, Christine; daughters: Deseree and Ametrice; a son, Chedell M. Jr; a granddaughter, Aneah; his father; and sisters, Darlene and Brenda. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Roseanna, in 2023; and brother, Abe Henderson Jr. Chedell worked as a chef at The Cheesecake Factory. Lillian Ilian, 100, of Altoona, died Monday at Graystone Manor at Bellmeade. She was born in Riggles Gap, daughter of the late Charles and Fannie (Moryken) Highduch. Lillian moved to New York City with her sisters in search of employment in the big city. She worked at Bulova Watch Co. She met and fell in love with Guenter Ilian. She married Guenter on Sept. 26, 1966, in White­stone, N.Y. They moved back to Altoona in 1991 to enjoy retirement. Guenter preceded her in death on June 26, 2011.
