Minerva M. Brannigan, 86, of Altoona, formerly of Ashville, died Tuesday. She was born in St. Augustine to late parents, John "Harry" and Mary (Conrad) Adams. Preceding her in death was her spouse, John "Jack"; infant son, Michael; and siblings: Robert, Patrick, Jack, Wilbert, Eileen Kelly and Margie McCoy. Surviving are her husband, Ronald; children: Paul, Diane and Ronald; siblings, Barbara Klisiewicz, Bill and David Adams; and six grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Ashville. Arrangements are by Gibbons-Houser Funeral Home Inc., Gallitzin.
