Irvin Frederick "Fred" Brandt, 90, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning at The Winds at Mattern Orchard, Duncansville. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Samuel D. and Virginia (Kane) Brandt. Fred is survived by a sister, DeeDee Brandt; several nieces; a nephew; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Collier; and a brother, Sam Brandt. At Fred's request, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
