John R. Ott

John R. Ott, 68, Hollidaysburg, passed away early Sunday morning at home. He was born in Hollidaysburg, a son of the late Lawrence Ott and Catherine V. (Brawley) Ott, who survives. Also surviving are his longtime partner, Robin Lear; sons, Joseph and John Ott; grandchildren, Damian and Catherine Ott; great-granddaughter, Aurora Hughes; siblings: Donald “Jake” Ott, Cindy Dempsie and Deborah Hicks; five nephews; and two nieces. No services will be held. Arrangements are by Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Williamsburg.

Deborah A. Carner, 68, of Altoona, passed away Saturday. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Elwood and Patricia (Claar) Carner. Surviving are children: Crystal Carner, Jaelynn Colbert, Nathaniel Harclerode and Dorrell Colbert; her grandchildren; and sisters, Tonda Rudy and Teresa Jones. She was preceded in death by siblings, Lisa Boyette and Elwood “Woody” Carner. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
