Raymond A. Blazer

Raymond A. Blazer, 94, of Duncansville, died Friday. He was born in Antis Township, son of the late Jess and M. Grace (Nearhoof) Blazer. Surviving are his wife, Shirley; daughters: Sherri Smith, Rita Sommer and Bonnie Blazer; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister; and five brothers. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Rab served in the U.S. Army during Korea. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m.

Robert A. Donley

Robert A. Donley, 71, of Lakemont, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late George and Barbara (Bratton) Donley. Surviving are his wife, Anita (Himes); a daughter, Autumn Pfahler (Bill) of Altoona; and in-laws: Miriam, Cathy, Larry, Randy and Tess Himes and Heather Keefer; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis, in 2024. Bob retired as a welder and carman from Norfolk Southern. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles. All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Paul R. Fisher, 88, of New Enterprise, died Sunday. He was born in Bedford County, son of the late Richard and Mildred Fisher. He was predeceased by siblings: (infant) Carrie Fisher, John Fisher and Jane Shaw. Surviving are his wife, Hazel; children: Jeanne Defibaugh, Paula Koontz, Richard Fisher and Kellie Gates; several grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Fisher. Norma J. (Saylor) Grove, 68, Williamsburg, died Thursday. She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late John and Ida (Shultz) Saylor. Surviving are her husband, Wayne; stepchildren, Kenneth Grove and Brenda Crouch; stepgrandchildren: Lindsey and Ian Crouch, Anna Shanholtz, Kendra Zomok, Tanner and Samantha Grove and Willie Hatcher; and a sister, Nancy Becker. She was preceded in death by a nephew, James Robert Becker; and brother-in-law, James Becker. Funeral services will be private. Mary Ann Hofer, 91, of Altoona, passed away Monday morning, Sept. 29, 2025, at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehab.
