Planning Commission OKs plans for Antis dog day care

Blair County Planning Commission members Thursday gave a favorable review to plans to construct a dog day care facility in Antis township. Fornari Dog Day Care plans to construct a new 4,400-square-foot building at the former site of Gulish Nursery and Garden Center on Sabbath Rest Road. The project includes 20 parking spaces, dog runs and stormwater facilities. Portions of the site are within the 100-year floodplain for Sandy Run but the new building and area of site disturbance will be outside the regulatory floodplain. He was preceded in death by a sister, Charlene VanDrew; and a brother-in-law, Marc Isenberg.
