Michael Paul Gambardella

Michael Paul Gambardella, 61, of Alexandria, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Gettysburg, son of the late Gaetano and Sandra (Zettle) Gambardella. Surviving are his son, Collin; grandchildren, Kellin and Ember; a brother, Vincent; sisters, Sherri Burley and Donna Hollen; and a half-sister, Cheryl Cox. Michael was preceded in death by his partner, Denise H. Miller. Michael enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren and family. All services will be privately held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are by Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care Inc., Altoona.

Patrick Clair Greenwood, 72, of Moberly, Mo., passed away Dec. 21, 2025. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Kenneth and Lois (Hamer) Greenwood. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie; niece, Tammy; and son, Michael. Carl R. Hedberg Sr., 88, of Altoona, passed away at his home Jan. 10, 2026. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Carl Nils Eric and Helen May (Clabaugh) Hedberg. Surviving are his devoted wife of 56 years, Sharon; sons, Carl Jr. and Chris, both of Altoona; daughters, Kimberly Custer and Erica Hedberg Quinn; as well as numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
