Clair Allen Runk Jr., 88, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Clair Allen Sr. and Alma (Baker) Runk.
On
May 7, 1960, he married Doris J. Guerin in Altoona.
In addition to his loving wife of 65 years, he is survived by three children: Ralph Runk and wife, Carla; Lori Wills and
husband, Larry; and Mike Runk (Jenifer); 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Gordon Runk and Donna Brubaker.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin
Burkett; a grandson, Mikey Runk; and two sisters,
Beverly Wood and Judy Biddle.
Clair was an active member of First Church of Christ in Altoona. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and enjoyed working on word search puzzles.
He proudly served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park.
