Lloyd LaVern Lane, 87, of Smoke Run, died Saturday. Born in Baxter Springs, Kan., Lloyd was a son of the late Leon B. and Mary (Newby) Lane. Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Grace; his children, Donna (Terry) Reynolds and Stacy (Debi) Lane; six grandchildren: Brittany, Ryan, William, Kristyn, Daviona and Jarred; 10 great-grand-children; and extended family.
