Lloyd

Teresa Ann Lloyd, 75, of Springboro, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away suddenly on Saturday, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

Teresa shared 56 years of marriage with her beloved husband, James "Jim" Lloyd. Together, they traveled the world, sharing adventures and creating a lifetime of memories.

A lifelong member of the Catholic Church, Teresa lived her faith through her kindness, generosity and willingness to help anyone in need. She was a friend to everyone she met and never hesitated to give of herself to others. Teresa was a fiery Italian woman who loved with that same fire and passion. She had a strong spirit, a generous heart and a personality that was unmistakably her own. She loved deeply, stood firmly by the people she cared about and had a way of making herself a memorable part of everyone's life.

Her love for her family was perhaps most evident in her cooking. Her homemade pasta noodles and her beloved Old Black Joe cake were family traditions that brought generations together. The Old Black Joe cake was the family's traditional birthday cake, a sweet and familiar part of celebrating the people she loved. For Teresa, cooking was more than preparing food; it was a way of showing her love and bringing her family together. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was lovingly known as Nana. She took great joy in spoiling them and making them feel special. The love she gave them, the traditions she created and the memories they shared will remain part of their lives for generations to come.

Teresa was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holder and an ardent Notre Dame football fan. Her passion for her teams was another reflection of the fire and spirit that made her who she was.

She was preceded in death by her oldest son, James Robert Lloyd II; her parents, Robert Hyle and Marie Sylvia (Michelone) Hyle; and her brother, Ron Hyle.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James Robert Lloyd; her son, Bret Lloyd, and his wife, Rachel (Martin) Lloyd; her granddaughter, Kierston Morahan, and her husband, Ryan; her grandson, Hunter Lloyd, and his wife, Sabryna (Smith); her granddaughter, Jordan Lloyd, and her partner, Brittany Fields; her brother, Ted Hyle, and his wife, Carroll (Flemming) Hyle; and her sister, Diane (Hyle) Cummings, and her husband, Mike Cummings. She also leaves behind seven cherished great-grandchildren: Gabriel Morahan, Cassidy Morahan, Aiden Morahan, Damien Lloyd, Taevyn Lloyd, Asher Fields and Dawson Campbell, who brought her immense joy and whom she loved dearly.

Teresa's sudden passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her fierce love, generous heart, strong spirit, unwavering faith and the countless ways she made others feel cared for. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the traditions she passed down and the love she gave so freely. To those who knew her as Teresa, she was a devoted wife, mother and friend. To those who knew her as Nana, she was a source of unconditional love, treasured traditions and memories that will last a lifetime. She will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, at Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Williamsburg; and again from noon until departure for the funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Williamsburg, with Father Dennis Kurdzeil, Celebrant.
