John Louis Witherspoon, 79, of Flint, Mich., formerly of Claysburg and Altoona, passed away Feb. 26, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2121 Fifth Ave., Altoona.

Ronald “Ronnie” Feathers Jr., 64, of Claysburg, passed away Wednesday at home. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Ronald W. Sr. and Edna (Dickinson) Feathers. He is survived by his daughter, Autumn Weyandt (Dustin); a sister, Michelle Bauman (Michael); grandsons: Silas, Emmett and Levi; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Harry E. Miller Funeral Home and Cremation Service Inc., 810 Bedford St., Claysburg. Keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.

Jean L. Stonerook, 95, of Martinsburg, passed into life eternal on Wednesday at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Adam and Helen (Weidensaul) Meiklejohn. On Aug. 27, 1955, she married John E. Stonerook at First Presbyterian Church in Altoona. John passed away Sept. 30, 2016, after 61 years of marriage.
