Shirley Runk

Shirley Runk, 86, Cassville, died Tuesday. She was born in Robertsdale, daughter of Michael Zdrosky and Dorothy Elizabeth (Wolfe) and John Cirko. She married Lester G. Runk. Surviving are her children: Brenda, Tammy, Tom, Donald and Steven Runk; and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Robert; two grandsons; and three siblings. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Friday, Aug. 14, at Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, Broad Top City.

Vickie Annette Shomo, 53, Coalport, died Friday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Philipsburg, daughter of Larry D. Shomo and the late Catherine L. (Sanches) Shomo. Surviving is a son, Christopher; her father; and a sister, Stephanie. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, at Hollentown Assembly of God Church. Arrangements are by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
