Mack Calvin Craig

Mack Calvin Craig, 83, New Enterprise, died Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert L. and Irene C. (Snyder) Craig. On April 16, 1966, he married Diane E. (Oster), who preceded him in death on Aug. 7, 2026. Surviving are two sons, David and Robert; and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eloise. Mack served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Woodbury.

Clara ‘Elizabeth’ ‘Liz’ Hollen

Clara Hollen, 94, Ashville, died Saturday. She was born in Sidman, daughter of William and Dorothy Haddon. She is survived by children: Pamela, Jeffrey, Scott and Dorothy; many grandchildren; and three siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; a grandson; and seven siblings. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Gibbons-Penksa Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St, Ashville. Lois Jean Lidwell

Lois Jean Lidwell, 94, Van Ormer, died Thursday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Earl and Thelma (Elder) Havlin. On Nov. 20, 1948, she married James W. Lidwell, who preceded her in death. Surviving are five children: Peggy, Sharon, Diane, James and Howard; and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ronna; and siblings: Sonny, Howard, Harry, Peg and Grace.
