Dr. Mohammad Naveed Arshad
Dr. Mohammad Naveed Arshad, 52, Hollidaysburg, passed away early Monday morning, April 17, 2017, after a courageous battle against cancer.
Surviving are his wife, Abeeda Naveed; four daughters; and a nephew, Adeel Akram.
Dr. Arshad was an emergency physician at Bon Secours, UPMC Altoona, UPMC Bedford Memorial, J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and Tyrone Hospital. He was also the medical director of Duncansville Ambulance Service.
He enjoyed golf and traveling, and he was a member of Portage Lodge No. 220 F&AM.
Funeral prayers will held at 1 p.m. today, April 18, 2017, at Alto-Reste Park Office Building. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
