Hajzus

Jeremy Hajzus of Cambria County received an appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Hajzus, a senior at Central Cambria High School, Ebensburg, has distinguished himself through strong academic achievement and leadership both in the classroom and as a member of the school’s wrestling team.

“His strong character, leadership in the classroom and on the mat, and commitment to serving something greater than himself make him exceptionally deserving of this honor,” said U.S. Rep. John Joyce, R-Blair.

Hajzus is the son of Michael and Leary Hajzus.
