The Adam Holliday Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, is planning a Community Day to Celebrate America250 from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Legion Park, Hollidaysburg.

The Legion will have a flag ceremony at noon that will retire the flag and post a new one. After the flag ceremony, a wreath and flowers will be placed at the Gold Star Monument.

The event will continue with food trucks, nonprofit groups, local historical and genealogical organizations, local authors and entertainment. In addition, there will be activities for kids and a car show, for display, not judging.
