Giant Eagle Inc. has announced an agreement with Rite Aid to transfer pharmacy prescriptions from 78 Rite Aid locations across Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Prescriptions will be transferred to the Giant Eagle Pharmacy location most convenient for customers. The company expects to close on the purchase of the prescriptions in waves during the month of June.
