The Giant Company, known locally as Giant and Martin’s released its fifth annual community impact report, highlighting its 2025 corporate social responsibility initiatives centered around areas where the company can make the greatest impact: eliminating hunger, changing children’s lives, healing the planet, promoting wellbeing and fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Highlights of the 2025 impact report include:
ö Through its partnership with Feeding America, 10.5 million meals were donated to help eliminate hunger in communities served
ö Support for Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley with a $250,000 donation to support local wish children and special in-store celebrations to honor children with critical illnesses and bring the joy of a wish to life.
ö In recognition of the many contributions of farmers to its business, supported The Nature Conservancy with a $100,000 donation to assist with regenerative agriculture practices in the Chesapeake Bay region.
ö To help customers live healthier lives and create healthier communities, Giant introduced a new wellbeing van to bring services to workplaces and local neighborhoods. The dietitians also connected with nearly 130,000 through outreach events and virtual classes, and the pharmacy teams administered more than 165,000 vaccinations.
Sheetz bringing back Crunchy Tacos
Sheetz is bringing back its Crunchy Tacos alongside additional Mexican-style menu items, reinforcing its spot as the go-to destination for craveable flavors.
Crunchy Tacos have returned to the menu for a limited time. You can get six for just $6 at all 830-plus Sheetz locations across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.
Customers can build their perfect tacos with a variety of toppings, including taco sauce, jalapenos, sour cream, shredded cheese and lettuce.
Two additional Mexican-style menu items — western burritos and jalapeno fryz have joined Sheetz’s lineup at locations across its footprint.
