Mary Byers and Austin Cheers were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg.

The bride is the daughter of Judy and David Byers of Landisville.

The bridegroom is the son of Janey and Jamie Cheers of Altoona.

The Bride was given in marriage by her father.

Hadley Cheers, niece of the groom was flower girl and Isaac Ankney nephew of the groom was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.

The couple took a wedding trip to Glacier National Park in Montana.

Mrs. Cheers is a 2009 graduate of Hempfield High School and a 2012 graduate of Lancaster County Career and Technology Center with her LPN.

She is employed as an LPN for Bayada Pediatrics Home Health Care in the Harrisburg/Lancaster area.

Mr. Cheers is a 2016 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a 2020 graduate of Penn State University with his degree in accounting.

He is employed as a senior accountant for Miller, Dixon Drake, CPAs in Harrisburg.

The couple live in Harrisburg.
