Lori Wilson of State College and Ryan Farley of Lancaster are engaged to be married.

Ms. Wilson is the daughter of Mary Wilson of Hollidaysburg and the late Bill Wilson.

She is a 2002 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism. She is a senior marketing specialist with the Penn State Smeal College of Business, University Park.

Mr. Farley is the son of Ann and Dr. R. David Farley of New Bethlehem.

He is a 2000 graduate of Redbank Valley High School and a 2004 graduate of Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

In 2009, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve as a 68D operating room specialist for the 624th FST (Forward Surgical Team) out of Fairview/Erie. He served a tour of active duty in 2012-2013 with his unit, stationed at FOB Shank in Logar Province, Afghanistan. Mr. Farley attended Chatham University earning a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2016. He served the military for a period of eight years and was honorably discharged in 2017 to further pursue a civilian career in medicine.

Mr. Farley is a physician assistant with Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.

A June 2022 wedding is planned at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Hollidaysburg.
