Julia Gallagher of Collegeville and Evan Shale of Duncansville are engaged to be married.

Miss Gallagher is the daughter of Lester and Constance Gallagher of Collegeville.

She is a 2023 graduate of Geneva College, Beaver Falls, with a double major, a bachelor of arts degree in communication disorders and a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She is pursuing a doctorate of audiology at the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Shale is the son of Craig and Heather Shale of Duncansville and the grandson of Sharon and Richard Ashburn of Hollidaysburg and Ann and Michael (deceased) Shale of Bottesford, England.

He is a 2021 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a 2025 graduate of Geneva College with a bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering.

He is an environmental engineer at Aquatech International, Canonsburg.

The wedding will take place Aug. 15, 2025, at Springton Manor Farm, Glenmoore.
