Rachel Alice Borst of Altoona and Thomas Lionel Cayer of Whitefield, Maine, are engaged to be married.

Miss Borst is the daughter of David and Brenda Borst of Altoona.

She is a 2017 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a 2021 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, with a bachelor’s degree in ultrasonography.

She is employed as a sonographer at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine.

Mr. Cayer is the son of Lionel and Jill Cayer of Whitefield, Maine.

He is a 2018 graduate of Coastal Christian School, Waldoboro, Maine.

He is employed as a carpenter.

The wedding will take place Aug. 9, 2025, at the Pilgrim Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Bangor, Maine.
