Yesteryear-Fort Roberdeau
On May 29, 1974, Fort Roberdeau entered in the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior upon nomination by the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office under provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. The National Register is the official list of the nation’s cultural resources and includes properties significant in American history, architecture, archeology and culture. Properties listed thereon deserve to be preserved by their owners as part of the cultural heritage of our nation. The photo at top right was taken in 1975, the one at bottom right was taken in 1976, the one at left was taken in the 1970s and the one at top left was taken during the dedication in 1976.
