Victor DeDonato (owner) and Lauren Beckwith (center manager), representing the UPS Stores at 1002 Logan Blvd., Suite 114, Altoona, and 19 Colonnade Way, State College, dropped off hundreds of cards, clothing, batteries and candy for veterans at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. In support of U.S. active military and the nation’s veterans, the UPS Store initiated Operation: SWAK (Sealed With A Kiss) through Valentine’s Day. Many cards and pictures were collected from local schools, preschools and daycare centers. Many other members of the community donated as well.
