Protect our endangered species

As someone who has spent a lifetime studying, writing about and painting America’s wildlife, I am deeply troubled by the steady erosion of conservation protections taking place across our nation. We are paying the cost of war

President Donald Trump does not want a peace treaty, to negotiate, or an agreement with Iran. He demands what he calls a deal which is his way of stating that Iran must do what he wishes them to do. Is ignorance bliss or just plain scary?

During a meeting with a Blair County Assistant District Attorney, the ADA reiterated to me the unpredictability of jurors’ decisions in sexual assault cases by telling me a horrific story. Recently, the ADA led the prosecution in a rape case during which the defendant was acquitted even after admitting to initially lying to police about having intercourse with the alleged victim, only retracting that lie after DNA evidence proved otherwise. We’re exhausted by the endless loop of lies, yet some media outlets still indulge him, giving credibility to claims that have been repeatedly investigated and rejected. Christians shouldn’t be exclusionary

If one compares the words that Pete Hegseth uses and the words used by Taliban or Iranian leaders, it is difficult to determine a difference in their perspectives of the value of nonbelievers and how they should be treated.
